Siyaha"s Grants Program provides funding to Jordanian business associations, NGOs and other institutions working in the tourism industry to develop Jordan's competitiveness as an international tourism destination. A specialized grants program is also available for certain businesses in the geographic areas in which Siyaha works. The project funds activities and programs, on a cost-sharing basis, that support Siyaha's project goals to:

Siyaha has two grant tracks: Sector Development Grants and Tourism-based Enterprise Development Grants.
Sector Development Grants are for organizations that work in the tourism industry. These organizations must fit the following criteria:

Tourism-based Enterprise Development
Grants are specifically designed for Siyaha's community-based tourism development programs. Currently, only institutions in Madaba and Wadi Rum are eligible to apply.

Grant types and activities funded by Siyaha
Siyaha offers four grant types that fund the following
types of programs and activities:

Small and Mini Grants: Seminars,
workshops, conferences and other events, and
technical assistance services, including studies,
and training. |

Program Development Grants:
In addition to programs and activities in the
Small and Mini Grants category,
other items include personnel costs, travel
and transportation, equipment,
and organizational operating costs. |

Fixed Obligation Grants: No specific
programs or activities are assigned to these
types of grants as they are awarded to achieve
specific benchmarks. |

Who can apply for a Siyaha grant?
Eligible grantees include
NGOs, tourism associations, professional organizations,
universities, training and research institutions, and consulting
firms that implement programs that support Siyaha's goals
of developing a dynamic, sustainable tourism industry.

The amount of funding depends on the grant type. See Types
of Grants for more information.
Application Process
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a concept
paper describing the proposed activity or program before
beginning the formal application process. The concept paper
should not exceed two pages and must include:

The purpose and objectives of the organization
and the proposed program; |

A general description of who will benefit from
the program and the impact on them; |
|
A description of who will implement the program
and a timeframe for implementation; |

An estimate of the amount of funding requested; |
|
The applicant's contribution, in cash and in kind,
as well as any other sponsors involved. |

to applicant's concept paper within 14 days.

is approved, the applicant can submit a complete application.
