The scope of this initiative is to reform tourism and hospitality educational and training systems by modernizing schools, community colleges and universities programs to meet the changing needs of the modern tourism industry through upgrading curricula, plan resources and training labs, training teachers, developing school management, and support awareness campaigns for increased enrollment. There will also be a new and innovative program introduced by JTDII to expand availability of trained employees and managers through launching specialized short training courses in safe food handling, first aid, hospitality skills, tourism English and train of trainers program. The training provided by this initiative also extends to the provision of professional training to upgrade hotel concierges by designing, developing and implementing information system which will include where to go, where to eat, activities to do, transportation, and bus services.
