Public awareness and attitudinal research of tourism
In preparation for designing and implementing a national tourism awareness campaign, a National Tourism Awareness Survey was conducted to measure the level of awareness of the importance of tourism and determine existing economic and social perceptions towards the industry. The survey findings, in addition to a number of assessments and indicators, provided a roadmap and rationale for developing an overall communications strategy that is customized towards shifting attitudes of the Jordanian public towards the tourism sector.
