The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MoTA) and USAID/Jordan Tourism Development Project (Siyaha) will sign a FARA (Fixed Amount Re-imbursement agreement) to develop a tourism statistical information system at MoTA.
The event will take place at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities on in the presence of the minister, H.E. Mr. Osama Dabbas, and MoTA Secretary General, H.E. Mr. Farouq Hadidi, along with the USAID Jordan Mission Director, Mr. Jay Knott, and other key officials from the ministry and USAID.
The new system will collect tourism information from various data sources and enable processing of such information to generate reports for the ministry’s decision makers, tourist consumers, industry businesses and organizations, and global tourism organizations.
